Cannes [France]: Academy Award-winning actor Kevin Spacey is set to be honoured with the Award for Excellence in Film and Television by the Better World Fund during their 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner in Cannes on May 20.
The organization recognized Spacey for his “artistic brilliance” and “impact on cinema and the arts”, as reported by Deadline. The announcement has sparked considerable interest as it marks a notable moment in Spacey’s re-emergence in the public eye.
Manuel Collas De La Roche, President and Founder of the Better World Fund, said:
“Extraordinary contributions to the art of cinema… talent, depth, and commitment to storytelling.”
While Spacey’s appearance on the Cannes red carpet has not been confirmed, there is growing speculation that he may attend, drawing attention from both fans and critics.

He is currently preparing for a new role in the conspiracy thriller “The Awakening,” one of his first major projects in recent years.
