Fans are very worried about actor Shehnaaz Gill, who is in the hospital in Mumbai. Karan Veer Mehra, a close friend and fellow actor, recently visited her and has now given an update on her health, saying that she is getting better after getting food poisoning. He told followers that she is not feeling well right now, but she is getting better and will “bounce back in action soon.”
A Hospital Stay as a Safety Measure
Mehra told The Times of India that he went to see Gill in the hospital on August 4. He said they had been “hanging out with some friends” the night before she went to the hospital. Mehra said that the doctor told her to go to the hospital as a safety measure because food poisoning can occasionally be quite serious. “When I saw her, she wasn’t feeling well, but I’m sure she’ll get better soon with some rest and medicine,” he said.
A Heartfelt Request and a Ray of Hope
Earlier this week, Mehra posted a video from the hospital room on his Instagram Stories. In it, he showed fans how Gill was doing and asked for their prayers. He said in the video, “I need you guys to pray really hard that this girl with full energy should get back as soon as possible.”
Many fans were frightened when they saw Gill in a hospital bed with an IV drip in the video. But, as is typical for Shehnaaz, she tried to cover her face and told Mehra that she will be back on her feet shortly. She chuckled and stated, “Hasa rha hai muje” (He is making me laugh) as he joked about getting back to partying with him. This pleasant conversation gave her well-wishers, who have been posting prayers for her quick recovery on social media, a sense of optimism and relief.
Both Actors Are Looking Ahead
Shehnaaz Gill became famous across the country when she was on Bigg Boss 13. Most recently, she featured in the music video for “Sajna Ve Sajna,” a song from the 2024 movie Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. Karan Veer Mehra, who won Bigg Boss 18 earlier this year, is getting ready for his break in Bollywood. He will be in the next romantic-action drama by director Omung Kumar, along with Harshvardhan Rane and Sadia Khateeb.
