Washington [US], March 31: Kanye West has once again found himself at the center of controversy, this time for a social media post about Jay-Z’s children.
According to TMZ, West addressed the backlash in a recent interview, where many criticized his remarks as insensitive and inappropriate. However, rather than apologizing, the rapper defended his post, arguing that his social media presence allows him to share his raw thoughts without immediate censorship.
When confronted with the idea that his post about Jay-Z’s 7-year-old twins, Rumi and Sir, was one of his worst, West countered by asking whether it was actually one of his “best or strongest” instead.
The post sparked widespread outrage, and Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowles, appeared to respond indirectly by sharing a video on Instagram, captioned, “…it’s hard to remain positive and classy in the face of ignorance and evil.”
West’s social media activity has been a source of controversy in recent months, with many of his posts containing antisemitic rhetoric. Despite facing criticism, he remains defiant, even when his statements target former collaborators like Jay-Z.
