Speaking to media after taking a holy dip at the sacred Sangam Triveni, Mittal said, “I want to thank UP CM for making such an arrangement to ensure the safety of everyone. It is because of his hard work and efforts that we can see such a wonderful arrangement here.”
Reflecting on his spiritual experience, he added, “I have come to Prayagraj before, but this time it feels like heaven on earth. This place is a center of faith for crores of devotees.”

The Maha Kumbh 2025 has witnessed an overwhelming turnout of devotees. Over 80 million pilgrims have taken a holy dip at the Sangam Triveni so far, with more than 2.2 million pilgrims visiting the mela on Monday morning alone, according to official data. Additionally, more than 1 million Kalpvasis have embraced the spiritual retreat, enhancing the grandeur of the event.

On Sunday, a fire incident caused by the explosion of three cooking gas cylinders occurred at the Mela. Fortunately, no casualties were reported. Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath personally visited the site to oversee the situation and commended the efforts of firefighting teams.
