K Kavitha Says People Are Disillusioned With Both Congress And BJP

Nizamabad (Telangana) [India], December 29: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC K Kavitha received a warm welcome as she returned to her constituency, Nizamabad, after a 10-month absence. In her address, Kavitha launched a strong critique of both the Congress and BJP for their failure to prioritize the region’s development.

Kavitha pointed out that there had been no progress in fulfilling promises made by the Congress government in Nizamabad, emphasizing that both major national parties had let down the people of Telangana. She also criticized the BJP MP from Nizamabad, stating that the MP had neither raised concerns about Telangana in Parliament nor contributed to the region’s development.

“The people are fed up with both Congress and BJP,” Kavitha declared, highlighting the neglect faced by the region. Her return was marked by a spirited reception from her supporters, with party workers gathering in large numbers to greet her. As the daughter of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, Kavitha has been an influential voice for her party in the region.

Earlier this week, Kavitha accused the Congress government in Telangana of acting under the BJP’s influence, alleging that the two parties were collaborating to target regional forces and suppress opposition leaders. She claimed that the recent cases filed against BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) were politically motivated and part of a broader vendetta campaign, initiated after Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s meeting with BJP leaders in Delhi.

She pointed to the timing of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) case against KTR, followed by Enforcement Directorate (ED) action, which occurred immediately after Revanth Reddy’s Delhi visit. Kavitha asserted that these events exposed the Congress-BJP alliance’s attempt to eliminate regional leaders like her father, KCR, who continue to advocate for the people’s welfare.

Accusing Revanth Reddy of engaging in “vendetta politics,” Kavitha further alleged that controversies, including one involving actor Allu Arjun, were intentionally stirred to divert public attention from the government’s failures.
