Hyderabad, February 10: Jr NTR has expressed his admiration for Ed Sheeran after the singer-songwriter performed the Telugu song ‘Chuttamalle’ from the film Devara at his Bengaluru concert as part of his ongoing India tour.
In the movie Devara, Jr NTR played the lead role, and ‘Chuttamalle’ became a popular romantic track showcasing the charming chemistry between him and actress Janhvi Kapoor. The song, originally sung by Shilpa Rao, was a major hit among audiences.
On Sunday, Ed Sheeran’s Bengaluru performance caught the attention of Jr NTR, who shared a short video from the concert on his Instagram. He wrote, “Music has no boundaries and you proved it again Ed! Hearing you sing Chuttamalle in Telugu is truly special.”
Janhvi Kapoor also re-shared Jr NTR’s post, expressing her joy at hearing the song performed in Ed Sheeran’s voice.
Adding to the surprise, Shilpa Rao, the original singer of ‘Chuttamalle’, joined Ed Sheeran on stage during the concert, delivering an unforgettable live performance for the Bengaluru fans.
