Washington [US], December 31 : Hollywood stars Josh Duhamel, Dylan Sprouse, and Til Schweiger have recently completed production on their thrilling new project, The Neglected, an action-packed film centered around a race against time.
Directed and co-written by David Lipper, who also serves as one of the film’s producers alongside Robert A. Daly Jr. and other industry veterans, The Neglected is set to captivate audiences with its gripping storyline. Red Sea Media is handling the international sales for the much-anticipated thriller.
In The Neglected, Duhamel stars as Detective Shaw, a veteran law enforcement officer nearing retirement. However, his final day on the job takes a harrowing turn when he uncovers a terrifying secret: a serial killer has buried Shaw’s own son alive. With only hours left before his son runs out of air, Shaw embarks on a desperate mission to solve three murders and track down his son before time runs out.
Duhamel, who recently starred in Shotgun Wedding alongside Jennifer Lopez, leads the film’s ensemble cast, which includes Dylan Sprouse, Til Schweiger, Jeremy and Jason London, and Elena Sanchez in key roles.
The screenplay for The Neglected was co-written by David Lipper and Adam G. Levine, with Lipper highlighting the film’s emotional depth. “The story asks the audience a big question: who and what have we neglected in our lives, and what are the consequences of that?” he shared.
The intensity of the film is heightened by Shaw’s internal battle as he tries to balance his personal and professional life while racing against a killer’s deadly deadline.
Producer Robert A. Daly Jr. expressed his enthusiasm for the project, saying, “David has been championing this film for years, and we are thrilled to see it finally come to life on screen.”
The film is produced by Lipper, Daly Jr., Mark Canton, along with Dorothy Canton, Denise Loren, and Ryan Winterstern.
