Washington [US], March 19 : Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and pianist John Legend has announced a world tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his debut 2004 album, Get Lifted.

Taking to Instagram, Legend shared his excitement, writing, “I’m so excited to announce that I’m heading back on the road for the Get Lifted 20th Anniversary Tour! Join me and my band for an unforgettable performance of the entire Get Lifted album—the album that introduced me to the world—plus a few favorites from my career that all of you know and love.”
He concluded the post with, “Let’s celebrate 20 amazing years of Get Lifted together!”
The tour will kick off in Europe in late May and June before moving to North America, with stops in the United States and Canada from August through December. Key tour locations include London, Amsterdam, Paris, and Munich, as well as Dallas, New Orleans, Boston, and Philadelphia.
Released in 2004, Get Lifted was John Legend’s first studio album, earning him eight Grammy nominations at the 48th Annual Grammy Awards in 2006. He won three awards: Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for Ordinary People, Best R&B Album for Get Lifted, and Best New Artist.
The album features some of his most iconic tracks, including Used to Love U, Ordinary People, Number One, and So High. To mark the 20th anniversary, Legend will also release a special edition titled Get Lifted (20th Anniversary), which includes eight new remixes, rare B-sides, and two previously unreleased studio performances recorded two decades ago.
The deluxe edition will also feature collaborations with artists such as Tems, Killer Mike & Lil Wayne, Simi, and Black Thought.
