New Delhi [India]: The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced on Friday that Jitender Pal Singh, an Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer from the 2002 batch, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to Israel.
Currently serving as Joint Secretary in the MEA, Singh brings a wealth of diplomatic experience to his new role. In an official press release, the MEA stated:
“Shri Jitender Pal Singh (IFS: 2002), presently Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the State of Israel.”
Singh is expected to assume his new responsibilities shortly, representing India in furthering diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties with Israel.
