Nagpur: Priyanshu, also known as Babu Ravi Singh Chhetri, was an actor who became famous for his role in Nagraj Manjule’s 2022 film Jhund with Amitabh Bachchan. He was killed by a buddy in Nagpur early on Wednesday. At Mayo Hospital, the 21-year-old actor was found with serious injuries and eventually died from them.
Reports said that Priyanshu was slain after getting into a fight with his 20-year-old friend Dhruv Lal Bahadur Sahu while drinking. The police have detained Sahu and charged him with murder.
Drunken Fight Ends in Death in Nagpur
A high-ranking police officer said that Priyanshu and Sahu were known to be good friends who drank together a lot.
“After midnight on Tuesday, the two rode Sahu’s motorcycle to an empty house in the Jaripatka area to drink.” “This happened just hours before Chhetri was found in serious condition early Wednesday morning,” the officer stated.
Priyanshu is said to have threatened Sahu during the fight, and then he fell asleep. Sahu is said to have tied Priyanshu up with plastic wires and attacked him with a sharp blade, leaving him half-naked and bleeding. He was afraid of getting back at him.
People who lived nearby found the hurt actor and called the police. Doctors at Mayo Hospital declared Priyanshu dead while he was being treated.
Police are looking into it.
The Nagpur Police said that the suspect, Dhruv Sahu, is in custody and that they are still looking into what happened before the murder.

Priyanshu had a little part in Jhund, which was directed by the well-known filmmaker Nagraj Manjule. The 2022 movie with Amitabh Bachchan was based on the story of Vijay Barse, the man who started Slum Soccer and changed the lives of poor kids via football.
