Jesy Nelson Shares Pregnancy Health Update After TTTS Surgery: “Feeling Grateful And Blessed”

Washington [US], April 7: Singer Jesy Nelson, known for her time with girl group Little Mix, has shared an emotional update with fans from her hospital room following a surgery related to her high-risk pregnancy.

Nelson, who is expecting twins with musician Zion Foster, opened up on Instagram Stories, expressing gratitude and hope after undergoing a procedure to treat twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) — a rare and serious condition affecting identical twins that share a placenta.

“We just wanted to come on here because we are another week further along and we feel so grateful and blessed that these little babies are still going strong,” Jesy said in the video.

The singer thanked fans for their overwhelming support:

“You guys have been so lovely. We’ve seen all of your beautiful messages and stories. It’s just really helped us keep going.”

Though still in the hospital, Jesy shared she’s finding moments of comfort with Zion by her side:

“Zion takes me out in the wheelchair down the road, but that’s as far as we can go.”

She reassured fans that she’ll continue sharing updates on their journey, adding that she hopes everyone is enjoying the sunshine — even if she can’t just yet.

Nelson first revealed the pregnancy complication in early March. On March 5, she candidly spoke about the dangers of TTTS, saying one twin might take all the nutrients from the placenta, possibly risking the lives of both babies.

By March 8, her condition worsened, with symptoms including stomach tightening and shortness of breath. Following medical checks, doctors determined the surgery was necessary to give the babies the best chance at survival.

In a hopeful update on March 30, Jesy announced the procedure was successful and the TTTS had “cleared up.”

“The operation was a success, which is just absolutely incredible. We are so, so lucky,” she said, adding that she must remain hospitalized to minimize the risk of preterm labor.

“Every week, we’re like, please, please stay in there,” Jesy shared, with Zion echoing, “One week at a time.”

Nelson, a founding member of Little Mix, rose to fame with the group’s chart-topping hits and has since launched a solo music career. Despite the complications, she continues to remain hopeful and committed to keeping fans updated throughout this personal and emotional chapter.
