Washington [US], April 10: Jennifer Lopez is set to return as the host of the 2025 American Music Awards, marking her second time leading the iconic ceremony. The show will air live from Las Vegas on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, on CBS, and will also stream on Paramount+ in the United States.
Lopez first hosted the AMAs in 2015 and has since remained a key figure in the event’s history, having performed more than 10 times and won three AMAs. She shared the exciting announcement with fans through her official social media, writing:
“Good things come in threes , JLO. AMA. CBS. On 5.26.25.”
Jay Penske, CEO of Dick Clark Productions, expressed his enthusiasm in a statement:
“We are thrilled to welcome Jennifer Lopez back to host the American Music Awards. Jennifer’s incredible talent and incomparable stage presence make her the ideal host of the show. We know she will bring her one-of-a-kind energy to the official kickoff celebration of summer.”
Lopez previously teased her return during last fall’s American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special on CBS.
The 2025 AMAs will be broadcast globally across both linear and digital platforms and are produced by Dick Clark Productions, a company under Penske Media Eldridge.
