Jennifer Aniston Shares Updates On ‘The Morning Show’ Season 4; New Episodes Premiere September 17

Washington, D.C., July 6: As excitement builds for the fourth season of The Morning Show, actress Jennifer Aniston has offered a glimpse into the intense production process behind the hit series, calling it “complicated” and “layered,” reported People.

The Morning Show, which stars Aniston alongside Reese Witherspoon and Billy Crudup, follows the turbulent professional and personal lives of news anchors at the fictional network UBA. “The Morning Show is just a beast to film. It’s layered, it’s complicated, it’s emotional, it hits on a lot of topics and current events, so let’s just say, it’s not Friends,” Aniston shared.

Aniston noted the team’s deep involvement beyond acting: “We’re involved in every single aspect of the show, on top of just the performance side, which is a big piece of it.” She credited the strong support from the crew for bringing the ambitious project to life.

Season 4, which wrapped filming in December 2024 according to a post from Reese Witherspoon’s media company Hello Sunshine, will introduce new cast members Jeremy Irons and Marion Cotillard, joining the core ensemble that includes Jon Hamm.

Reflecting on the experience, Aniston admitted, “It was so hard… but it’s a great season. It’s jam-packed, that’s for sure.” She expressed disbelief at the series’ longevity: “I honestly can’t believe it’s season 4 and we’ve been doing this since 2017.”

She added that post-production is ongoing: “We’re still in post-production, but I think it’s shaping up. It’s really good, it’s really suspenseful.”

The Morning Show Season 4 will premiere on September 17 on Apple TV+, while Seasons 1-3 are currently available to stream.
