Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]: Shark Tank India has introduced a special episode designed to promote innovation and entrepreneurship among individuals with disabilities and those who support them. Jeet Adani, Director of Adani Airports, has partnered with Shark Tank India for the unique episode, ‘Gateway to Shark Tank – Divyang Special’, which will highlight transformative ideas and solutions aimed at improving the lives of specially-abled individuals.
“There is potential to disrupt this space. We need more passionate people to create solutions for problems faced by those who are specially abled. I am excited to partner with Shark Tank India and support entrepreneurs to help bring about this change, in whatever way possible,” said Jeet Adani in a statement shared by the press release.
Jeet Adani, recognized as the world’s youngest airport infrastructure developer, will provide mentorship and support through Shark Tank to entrepreneurs with disabilities or those working for people with disabilities. In this special program, he joined Shark Tank India host Anupam Mittal to discuss the urgent need for focused efforts in this area.

On International Day of People with Disabilities in 2024, Jeet Adani facilitated a collaboration between the Adani Foundation and the Gujarat Government’s Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, distributing over 1,150 technical kits to differently-abled students across Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in the state.
Additionally, Jeet Adani has been a key player in the Adani Foundation’s partnership with the Mitti Social Initiatives Foundation. Through this collaboration, Mitti Cafes have been established at Adani Group’s Mumbai and Lucknow airports to provide employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities, promoting diversity and inclusion. In 2023, he also launched GreenX Talks, a platform where resilient individuals with disabilities shared their inspiring stories of overcoming challenges.

Ranjana Mangla, Head of Ad Sales Revenue at Sony LIV, praised Jeet Adani’s efforts in supporting the initiative. “Shark Tank India has been the beacon of hope for every Indian aspiring to make a mark. ‘Gateway to Shark Tank – Divyang Special’ is now accepting entries until February 15. Afterward, shortlisted pitches will be chosen for the exclusive episode.
Through this initiative, Shark Tank India and Jeet Adani aim to mentor and support entrepreneurs who are pioneering disability-inclusive innovation, fostering accessibility and progress. The special episode will soon be available on Sony LIV.
