JDU MP Sanjay Kumar Jha Meets ‘Korean Bihari’ YouTuber Yechan C. Lee In Seoul

Seoul [South Korea]: JDU MP Sanjay Kumar Jha met popular YouTuber Yechan C. Lee, widely known as the ‘Korean Bihari’, during his visit to Seoul, South Korea. The meeting stood out as a cultural and emotional exchange, celebrating shared connections to Patna, where Lee spent his childhood.

In a post shared on social media platform X, Jha expressed his delight, writing:

“This meeting was something different and special! It was a pleasure to meet YouTuber Yechan C. Lee aka Charlie in Seoul (South Korea), who is also known as ‘Korean Bihari’ for his typical Bihari style. Charlie came to Patna with his parents in his childhood and grew up here.”

In the shared video, Sanjay Jha discussed the objective of his international visit — reinforcing India’s zero tolerance stance on terrorism. He emphasized the country’s commitment to eliminating terrorism in all its forms.

Jha leads a nine-member all-party parliamentary delegation, which includes BJP MP Aparajita Sarangi. The delegation is on a multi-country diplomatic mission, with visits planned to Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, and Singapore. Their agenda is to advocate for a unified global stance against terrorism and to reinforce India’s diplomatic ties in East and Southeast Asia.

The initiative is set against the backdrop of Operation Sindoor, launched by India on May 7 in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 people. Indian forces carried out precision strikes targeting terror infrastructures in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in the elimination of over 100 terrorists associated with groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen.

Following retaliatory shelling and attempted drone attacks by Pakistan, India launched a coordinated military response that destroyed key radar systems, airfields, and communication centres across 11 Pakistani airbases.

A ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan was publicly acknowledged on May 10, following the escalation.
