Jawed Habib, a famous hairstylist, his son Anos Habib, and an acquaintance named Saiful are all in a lot of trouble with the law right now. They have 32 First Information Reports (FIRs) against them in Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal district. The serious charges are about a multi-crore financial fraud that involved a fake Bitcoin investment scheme.

The police say that the first inquiry shows that the three people who are accused of committing a financial fraud of about ₹5–7 crore.

How the Alleged Scam Worked

The news agency media said that the people who are being accused took large amounts of money from each investor, between ₹5 and ₹7 lakh, promising that investing in Bitcoin would give them very high returns, up to ten times the original investment. It is said that the Follicle Global Company (FLC) ran the fraud.

The police, on the other hand, said that none of the investors have gotten their promised money back even after two and a half years. After a thorough and coordinated investigation into the complaints, 32 FIRs were filed.

“They took about ₹5–7 lakh from each investor, saying it would make a lot of money, but none of the investors got their money back after two and a half years,” said Superintendent of Police Krishna Kumar Vishnoi.

Lawyer Cites Ill Health; Lookout Notice Issued

A watch notice has been issued against Habib and his family to stop them from possibly fleeing the country.

When the police told the accused to come in for questioning, Jawed Habib’s lawyer, Pawan Kumar, met with the local police at the Raia Satti police station on Sunday. The lawyer gave the police papers saying that his client couldn’t come in person because of his bad health, including recent heart problems, and the fact that his father had just died.

However, Govind Kumar, who is in charge of the Raia Satti police station, said that the police had Habib record his testimony in person.

“After a thorough investigation, 32 FIRs have been filed against Jawed Habib, his son Anos, and a friend named Saiful. Govind Kumar said, “They were told to come in for questioning.” “On Sunday, we met with Habib’s lawyer. He was told that Habib had to record his statement in person.

The Defense’s Statement of Cooperation

Even though the claims are highly severe, Jawed Habib’s lawyer told the media and the police that his client is willing to fully assist with the police at every level of the inquiry.

“We think the cops will do the right thing. There is an investigation going on into the claims. “We are ready to work together at every step,” the lawyer added again, adding that Habib had “full faith in the judiciary and the Constitution of India.”
