In a major setback for India’s title defense, pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah is reportedly set to miss the T20 World Cup 2026 opening match against USA today, Saturday, February 7, due to viral fever.

Reports indicate that Bumrah visited the Wankhede Stadium for the final training session on Friday but did not participate, instead being monitored by the BCCI medical team.
