External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar inaugurated the Indian Consulate in Belfast, marking a significant step in enhancing India’s presence in the United Kingdom.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with media, Jaishankar highlighted the consulate’s role in:

Jaishankar noted Belfast’s rich manufacturing history, industrial base, and shipbuilding sector, making it an ideal hub for deeper India-UK economic engagement. He emphasized that strengthening economic cooperation, easing travel, supporting the diaspora, and advancing education will significantly benefit India-UK relations.
