External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar reaffirmed India’s commitment to its strategic partnership with Japan, while Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav emphasized growing investment ties following his Japan visit.
On Japan’s National Day, S Jaishankar extended greetings to Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya, the government, and the people of Japan.
Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, fresh from his four-day visit to Japan, highlighted efforts to attract investments ahead of the Global Investors Summit in Bhopal, scheduled for February 24-25.
“This Japan visit will create new dimensions of investment in Madhya Pradesh. The relations between the two countries will become stronger with Japan as a partner country in the ‘Global Investors Summit’,” Yadav stated on X.
During his visit, Yadav held investment sessions in Osaka, inviting Japanese industrialists to participate in the summit. The response was highly positive, with Japanese companies expressing strong interest in sectors including manufacturing, technology, and infrastructure.
Yadav emphasized India-Japan historical ties and credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for fostering bilateral cooperation.
“To build ties between Japan and Madhya Pradesh, we are organizing a global summit. Several Japanese companies from various sectors showed interest in investing,” Yadav told the media.
With Japan confirmed as a partner country at the summit, expectations are high for enhanced bilateral trade and development collaborations in Madhya Pradesh.
