Jaipur, March 9 – Bollywood fans were treated to a nostalgic moment as Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor shared a warm exchange during the IIFA 2025 press conference in Jaipur. The former couple, who were once among Bollywood’s most beloved pairs, were seen hugging and chatting, a rare sight that immediately went viral.
While their reunion sparked widespread excitement, Shahid Kapoor downplayed the buzz, calling it just another “normal” interaction.
“For us, it’s nothing new… Aaj stage pe mile aur hum log idhar udhar milte rehte hai, but it’s totally normal for us… If people felt nice, it’s nice,” Shahid told the media on the green carpet of the IIFA Digital Awards.
Shahid and Kareena were in a relationship during the 2000s, starring together in ‘Fida,’ ‘Chup Chup Ke,’ and ‘Jab We Met’—a film that cemented their on-screen chemistry as legendary. However, they parted ways just before the release of ‘Jab We Met’, moving on with their respective lives. Kareena is now married to Saif Ali Khan with two sons, while Shahid is happily settled with Mira Rajput, raising a son and a daughter.
