Israeli authorities announced on Friday that more than 75 wanted Palestinian terror suspects were arrested during the past week in a series of joint operations in Judea and Samaria (the West Bank).
The raids were conducted by the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) as part of an ongoing counter-terror campaign. In addition to the arrests, security forces also seized a significant cache of illegal weapons and ammunition.
Among those detained were 13 Palestinians suspected of being involved in terror activities against Israeli security forces in the Bethlehem area. The operations also led to the arrest of nine Hamas-affiliated arms dealers in the Tulkarem and Salfit regions.
The Israeli authorities stated that the operation was part of their efforts to dismantle terror infrastructure and prevent future attacks.
