Israel Controversial Plan to ‘Clear’ Gaza for Luxury Resorts and Tech Hub, Claims Report

Sources say that Trump administration officials and Israeli strategists are talking about a very controversial plan for Gaza after the conflict. The Washington Post reports that the plan calls for moving all of Gaza’s more than two million residents to a new location for a short time so that a full rebuilding may take place. This would turn the area into a high-tech center and a luxury tourist attraction.

The “Gaza Reconstitution, Economic Acceleration and Transformation Trust” (GREAT Trust) proposal is 38 pages long and calls for a U.S.-administered trusteeship that would endure at least ten years. During this time, those living in Gaza would be offered money to move to other countries or to certain restricted areas within Gaza while the area is being rebuilt.

The idea gives each Palestinian who agrees to leave $5,000 in cash, plus four years of rent and one year of food support. The proposal says this is a good idea because it would save money. It estimates that transferring each person will save around $23,000 compared to the expense of putting them in safe zones while the work is being done.

For landowners, the concept involves an offer of digital tokens in exchange for redevelopment rights. You could use these tokens to pay for a new life somewhere else, or you could trade them in for an apartment in one of the six to eight planned AI-powered “smart cities” in Gaza.

According to reports, the Boston Consulting Group and those connected to the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), a group that helps people in the enclave, helped with the project’s financial planning.

The study appears as the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza continues to worsen. The Israeli military called Gaza City a “dangerous combat zone” only this Friday. This was a big step up in its attack. The United Nations has just declared a state of famine in Gaza Governorate, blaming the problem on Israel’s blocking of humanitarian aid.
