Tel Aviv [Israel], June 22: Since the beginning of Israel’s military operations against Iran on June 13, Iran has launched over 450 missiles and more than 400 drones toward Israeli territory, according to data released by Israel’s Government Press Office on Saturday night.
The sustained attacks have resulted in 24 deaths and 1,272 injuries, including 14 individuals in serious condition. In response to the damage, the Israel Tax Authority has received 30,735 claims, the majority of which—25,040—are related to buildings. Additionally, 2,623 claims pertain to vehicles and 3,006 involve other types of property.
Due to the persistent threat, the Home Front Command has evacuated 8,190 civilians from affected areas.
The escalation is part of a broader conflict between Israel and Iran, which intensified following Israel’s launch of “Operation Rising Lion” on June 13, targeting key Iranian military and nuclear infrastructure.
