iPhone 16 And 16 Plus Get Price Cut In India Following IPhone 17 Launch

NEW DELHI — As is usual with Apple’s yearly product cycle, the release of the new iPhone 17 series has caused the prices of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus to go down in India. This change makes the strong, feature-rich smartphones from last year’s selection easier for more people to get.

The updated costs, which are now available on Apple’s official website, are much lower than the rates at debut in September 2024.

Changes in Prices and Storage The price of the 128GB iPhone 16 has dropped from ₹79,900 to ₹69,900. Apple has stopped making the 256GB and 512GB storage choices for this device.

The base edition of the iPhone 16 Plus, which has 128GB of storage, now costs ₹79,900, which is a big drop from its initial price of ₹89,900. The price of the 256GB model has dropped from ₹99,900 to ₹89,900. The Plus model’s 512GB option is no longer available either.

You can still get both phones in Black, Pink, Teal, Ultramarine, and White.

The iPhone 16 Series’ Most Important Features
Even though the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus are a year old, they are still very good smartphones with a lot of modern features. The Apple A18 chipset, which has a six-core CPU, a five-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine, powers both of them. This lets them use a lot of Apple Intelligence capabilities.

The basic iPhone 16 has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, but the Plus variant has a bigger 6.7-inch screen. Both screens can get as bright as 2,000 nits, and they both have better Ceramic Shield protection. They also have the Dynamic Island and are rated IP68 for being resistant to water and dust.

Cameras: The gadgets have two back cameras: a 48-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 12-megapixel ultrawide-angle camera. The main camera can do macro photography and 2x in-sensor zoom. The whole back device can take Spatial films and pictures. There is a TrueDepth selfie camera with 12 megapixels on the front.

New Buttons: The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus have an Action button on the left side and a Camera Control button on the right side. These buttons make it easier to zoom in, take pictures, and record videos.

Connectivity: Both variants have a USB Type-C port and support dual SIM (Nano + eSIM), 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth.

The cheap iPhone 16 and 16 Plus versions are an excellent choice for anyone who want a high-end smartphone at a low price but don’t need the newest features.
