New Delhi [India], December 15: Actor Varun Dhawan, currently promoting his upcoming film Baby John, had a special meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his visit to the national capital.
Varun shared his excitement on Instagram, posting a picture from the meeting and describing the interaction as an “absolute pleasure.” He captioned the photo, “Inke Saamne Toh Hum Sab ‘Baby’ Hai. It was an absolute pleasure to meet the Honorable Home Minister Amit Shah ji in Delhi.”
Meanwhile, Baby John is an adaptation of Atlee’s 2016 Tamil film Their, which starred Vijay and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Earlier this month, the film’s trailer was unveiled in a grand event. The trailer, filled with intense action, highlighted Varun’s versatility as he portrayed a police officer, a father, and a romantic lead. Jackie Shroff plays the antagonist, while Wamiqa Gabbi also plays a significant role. The trailer ended with a surprise cameo from Salman Khan, whose covered face revealed only his eyes, leaving a lasting impact as he wished “Merry Christmas” in advance.
Baby John, produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande, directed by A. Kaleeswaran and presented by Atlee, is set for release on December 25.
