IndiGo Airlines has issued an advisory regarding potential disruptions to flight schedules due to dense fog conditions in Delhi and other regions in North India. The airline cited reduced visibility as the main factor impacting flight operations.
Impact in Delhi
In a post on social media platform X, IndiGo highlighted the challenges posed by the fog.
“With winter in full swing, many regions in Northern India are experiencing varying fog conditions. On some days, fog may be dense, while on others, lighter fog could still impact flight schedules,” the airline wrote.
The advisory specifically noted Delhi’s significantly reduced visibility and the potential for changes to flight schedules.
“Delhi continues to experience significantly reduced visibility due to fog, impacting flight schedules,” IndiGo stated.
Fog Conditions in Bengaluru
In addition to Delhi, Bengaluru is also experiencing disruptions due to low visibility caused by fog. IndiGo urged passengers to check flight status updates before heading to the airport.
“Due to foggy conditions in Bengaluru, low visibility may lead to changes in flight schedules,” the airline wrote.
