India’s Indigenous AMCA To Be Unveiled At Aero India 2025

India’s indigenous fifth-generation Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) is set to make a grand appearance at Aero India 2025, the premier aerospace exhibition in Asia, scheduled to be held from February 10 to 14 at Yelahanka Air Force Station, Bengaluru. The Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) has designed the AMCA for the Indian Air Force (IAF) to showcase India’s advancements in fighter jet technology and air combat capabilities.

AMCA: A Leap in Defence Technology

The AMCA integrates fifth-generation technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered electronic pilot, net-centric warfare systems, integrated vehicle health management, and an internal weapon bay. The AI-powered electronic pilot will feature:

  • Multi-sensor data fusion to enhance situational awareness
  • Pilot decision support system for real-time combat efficiency
  • Automatic target identification system for precision strikes
  • Combined vision system for navigation in poor visibility

With a 25-ton weight class, AMCA will support manned and unmanned teaming capabilities, making it one of the most advanced 5th-generation fighter aircraft globally.
