A cricket enthusiast from Bengaluru shared, “Virat Kohli made a century… We are very happy.” Echoing similar sentiments, a fan from Baramulla praised the team’s effort, stating, “India beat arch-rival Pakistan. India played very well in the match.”
A supporter from Raipur credited Kohli for the victory, remarking, “The credit for the victory goes to Virat Kohli… He played very well.”
Kohli’s masterful innings of 100* (111 balls, 7 fours) at a strike rate of 90.09 was pivotal in India’s successful chase of Pakistan’s total of 241. This marked his sixth century in ICC ODI events and his first in the ICC Champions Trophy, adding another milestone to his illustrious career.
