During the discussions, both sides exchanged views on transnational crime, with a strong emphasis on combating terrorism and violent extremism—a central theme of the delegation’s ongoing international outreach.
Bilateral Engagements in Indonesia
The delegation also held a high-level meeting with Indonesia’s Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Arief Havas Oegroseno, to deepen diplomatic ties and explore avenues of cooperation in regional security, trade, and people-to-people exchanges.
Earlier in the day, the group met with:
- Muhammad Husein Fadlulloh, Vice Chairperson of Indonesia’s Committee for Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation

The meetings aimed to brief Indonesian officials on India’s zero-tolerance stance against terrorism, particularly in light of growing global concerns around Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.
In a post on X, the Indian Embassy in Indonesia shared:
“The Indonesian side conveyed that they condemn terrorism and believe in dialogue for solving problems, not terrorism, as it is against humanity—supporting India’s zero-tolerance approach.”
