Tokyo: As part of India’s diplomatic outreach under Operation Sindoor, an all-party delegation of Indian Members of Parliament, led by Janata Dal (United) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, held a significant interaction with prominent Japanese dignitaries from political, governmental, and academic sectors at India House in Tokyo on Saturday.
Hosted by India’s Ambassador to Japan, Sibi George, the event served as a high-level forum to amplify India’s unwavering stance against cross-border terrorism. The engagement underscored the bipartisan unity of Indian political leadership in the global fight against terrorism.
In a post on X, the Indian Embassy in Tokyo stated:
“All-Party Delegation of Hon’ble Members of Parliament led by Shri Sanjay Kumar Jha interacted with dignitaries from Japan’s political, governmental, and academic spheres and conveyed a strong and unified national message of zero tolerance for cross-border terrorism.”

A Unified Political Voice on Terrorism
Earlier in the day, MP Sanjay Kumar Jha reiterated that despite political diversity, India’s political establishment speaks in one voice when it comes to national security.
“Seven delegations of all-party MPs will be visiting different countries. We were the first to leave India. We may have political differences and contest elections against each other, but when it comes to the country, we are all together,” Jha affirmed during an interaction with the Indian community in Tokyo.
He highlighted that Pakistan has been waging a proxy war against India for over four decades through state-sponsored terrorism.
“This incident (referring to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack) is not a simple one. Pakistan has been fighting a proxy war for the last 40 years, as it cannot have a direct war with us. They targeted tourists after asking about their religion,” said the JD(U) MP.
