India is set to host a major international forum, the United Nations Troop Contributing Countries’ Chiefs Conclave (UNTCC), in New Delhi from October 14 to 16. The high-level gathering will bring together senior military leadership and delegates from 32 nations that play a crucial role in UN peacekeeping operations worldwide.
The conclave reflects India’s tradition of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (the world is one family) and its unwavering commitment to global peace and stability.
Key Participants and Agenda
As one of the largest contributors to UN missions, India is convening the forum to deliberate on the critical challenges facing peacekeeping today.
- High-Profile Attendance: The event will feature participation from top Indian and UN officials, including Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, and Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations, Jean Pierre Lacroix.
