In a meeting with Italy’s Under Secretary of State for Defence, Matteo Perego Di Cremnago, both ministers reviewed various aspects of bilateral defence collaboration. Discussions focused on India’s growing capabilities in defence manufacturing and the development of indigenous systems. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening defence ties across all domains.
During a discussion with UK’s Minister for the House of Lords, Lord Vernon Coaker, the ministers reviewed ongoing bilateral defence cooperation and pledged to further strengthen ties. They also reaffirmed their commitment to working together, along with other international partners, to promote peace, prosperity, and a rules-based world order. The discussions specifically highlighted the Indo-Pacific and Indian Ocean Region, emphasizing the importance of freedom of navigation and adherence to the rule of law in maritime and other domains.
In another significant meeting, Lesotho’s Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office for Defence and Security, Limpho Tau, discussed the immense potential in defence exports with Minister Seth, exploring avenues to expand cooperation between the two nations.

Meanwhile, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh met Algeria’s Minister Delegate to the Minister of Defence and Chief of Staff of the National Army, General Said Changeriha, at Aero India 2025 in Bengaluru on Monday. Calling it a “great interaction,” Singh shared details of the meeting in a post on X.
