India Slams Pakistan Over Deadly Kabul Hospital Strike, Calls It “Barbaric”

India strongly condemned Pakistan following a devastating airstrike on a hospital in Kabul that reportedly killed around 400 people and injured over 250. The Ministry of External Affairs described the attack as “barbaric, cowardly and unconscionable,” accusing Pakistan of masking a massacre as a military operation.

The strike, which targeted a major drug rehabilitation hospital, caused massive destruction, leaving the facility in ruins and patients buried under debris. Eyewitnesses described scenes of chaos, with fires engulfing the building and victims crying out for help amid the devastation.

India also highlighted that the attack occurred during Ramzan, calling the timing especially reprehensible. It termed the incident a violation of Afghanistan’s sovereignty and a serious threat to regional peace and stability.

However, Pakistan has denied responsibility, claiming its operations were aimed only at military targets within Afghanistan.
