In the national capital, Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood led a unique initiative encouraging residents to switch off all electrical appliances from 8:00 pm to 8:05 pm.

“This meaningful effort will send a big message for the environment and Mother Earth,” Sood said in a video message.
“Under the guidance of PM Modi and CM Rekha Gupta, a strong voice is being raised for our Earth today.”
