New Delhi [India]: As part of India’s concerted global outreach following the Pahalgam terror attack, an all-party parliamentary delegation led by Baijayant “Jay” Panda is set to visit key Middle Eastern nations and Algeria to build international consensus against state-sponsored terrorism, particularly emanating from Pakistan.
BJP MP Nishikant Dubey, a member of the delegation, expressed confidence that the group’s diplomatic engagements will strengthen global resolve against Pakistan’s actions. Speaking to the media prior to the delegation’s departure to Bahrain, Dubey said:
“Saudi Arabia is an important Muslim country and they, too, have suffered from terrorism. We are confident in our ability to present the facts convincingly. When all seven delegations return, the atmosphere across the world will be firmly against Pakistan.”
Dubey emphasized the need for objectivity in addressing terrorism, stating unequivocally that “terrorism has no religion.”
India’s Unified Message on Terrorism
Highlighting the unprecedented unity among Indian political parties in the wake of the Pahalgam attack, Baijayant Panda remarked:
“We are embarking on this diplomatic mission with wide political representation. The most important message is the unity India has shown. After succeeding militarily, it is critical to engage diplomatically and ensure the world stays focused on the real threat — state-sponsored terrorism.”
He added that several countries, including Germany and the UAE, have already expressed solidarity with India’s stance and acknowledged its right to self-defense.

The delegation will visit Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Algeria. Members include:

Owaisi: Pakistan Must Be Held Accountable
AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi, speaking to reporters, criticized Pakistan for operating terrorist camps and sending militants into India:
“We will inform these four countries about Pakistan’s support for terrorism. These camps are launching pads for terrorists who infiltrate and carry out attacks on Indian soil.”
Operation Sindoor and India’s Global Messaging
This diplomatic initiative follows Operation Sindoor, India’s military response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, in which 26 civilians were killed. The offensive targeted terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in over 100 terrorist casualties.
The broader diplomatic offensive — involving seven Indian delegations dispatched globally — seeks to consolidate international support behind India’s zero tolerance policy on terrorism and counter Pakistan’s narrative.
Background:
The cross-party initiative showcases India’s unified national consensus on counterterrorism, projecting a resolute stance across diplomatic, military, and humanitarian dimensions. These visits are part of India’s evolving strategy to isolate state sponsors of terror on the global stage.
