Abhishek Sharma was the best player, hitting 74 runs off of just 39 balls. Shubman Gill also did well, hitting 47 runs off of 28 balls. India won by a large margin, even if the middle order had a few problems, with captain Suryakumar Yadav getting out for a duck and Sanju Samson only scoring 13 runs. There was some heat on the pitch during the win, with Abhishek Sharma and Haris Rauf getting into a fight and Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan celebrating in a way that caused a lot of controversy.
Performance on the Field
In their 20 overs, Pakistan scored 171 runs and lost 5 wickets. Sahibzada Farhan, who was dropped twice during his innings, was the leading scorer for his team with 58 runs. Shivam Dube led India’s bowling assault and was the best bowler, taking 2/33 in four overs. But India’s fielding was bad, as the team dropped four catches.
Suryakumar Yadav, the captain of India, won the toss and chose to field first at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The Indian team made two important changes: they brought back Jasprit Bumrah and Varun Chakaravarthy instead of Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana. Pakistan also made two changes, bringing in Faheem Ashraf and Hussain Talat to replace Hasan Nawaz and Khushdil Shah.
