In Delhi, popular locations such as Hauz Khas, Connaught Place, and Lajpat Nagar were packed with revelers. To ensure a safe environment, Delhi Police had implemented extensive security measures in advance.
Amritsar in Punjab saw crowds gathering at the Golden Temple to welcome the New Year with prayers and reflection. Meanwhile, hotels across the country hosted special events to celebrate the occasion.
In Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, people took to the streets, dancing to celebrate the new beginning. Lucknow followed suit with enthusiastic celebrations as the clock struck midnight.
Mumbai witnessed dazzling fireworks that lit up the sky, drawing massive crowds to its iconic beaches like Juhu Beach, Chowpatty Beach, and Versova Beach. Marine Drive also became a popular spot for revelers enjoying the stunning display.
In Manali, Himachal Pradesh, tourists and locals alike celebrated with music and dancing in the streets, adding vibrancy to the mountain town.
Celebrations in West Bengal featured crowds using mobile phone lights to add a unique touch, while in Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram, a spectacular fireworks show marked the arrival of 2025.
Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh celebrated with cake-cutting ceremonies, while Tamil Nadu’s Coimbatore saw percussion performances filling the streets with rhythm. In Chennai, large gatherings enjoyed the lively atmosphere.
Jharkhand’s Ranchi also joined the nationwide celebrations, with people singing and dancing to mark the New Year.
