INDIA Bloc’s Protest March To EC Blocked By Delhi Police, Watch!

Delhi Police set up barricades to thwart a protest march by the INDIA bloc on Monday. The march was led by Rahul Gandhi, a Congress MP and the Leader of the Opposition. The march started at Parliament and was going to the Election Commission of India (EC) to protest what the opposition calls “voter fraud” and to voice their worries about the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar.

Claims of “Vote Theft” and “Collusion” by the EC

Just a few days after Rahul Gandhi attended a news conference and made serious claims about a “huge criminal fraud” during the general elections, the demonstration happened. Gandhi said that the BJP in power and the EC were “colluding.” He showed what he dubbed a “atom bomb” of proof, using an analysis from the Mahadevapura assembly constituency in Karnataka. He said that more than 100,000 votes in that district were not real, were duplicates, or were registered to locations that didn’t exist.

He also said that there were “one crore mystery voters,” that CCTV footage had been destroyed, and that the EC would not release important voter data. These claims have made the opposition’s call for a complete probe stronger and have led to the protest march.

Police Presence and Barriers

Delhi Police said before the march that the protest had not been approved. In response, a large number of police officers were sent along the route from Parliament to the EC office. To keep everything in order, barricades were put up at several places, and extra security cars and Quick Reaction Teams were on standby. This step was taken to keep the peace and make sure that traffic moved smoothly in the region.
