New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner won the toss and chose to field first against India in the final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 in Ahmedabad.
The Black Caps have made one change to their playing XI, bringing in Jacob Duffy as the only alteration to the side for the title clash.
India, meanwhile, have decided to go in with an unchanged lineup for the final. Abhishek and Varun have both retained their places in the playing XI as the team looks to maintain the combination that helped them reach the summit clash.
With the toss going in New Zealand’s favour, India will bat first in the high-stakes final as both teams battle for the T20 World Cup trophy.
