IFP Season 15 Unveils Star-Studded Lineup: Two-Day Festival To Celebrate Creativity, Culture And Digital Storytelling

The India Film Project (IFP) is gearing up to celebrate its fifteenth year with a grand festival dedicated to creativity, culture, and innovation across multiple art forms. Season 15 of the festival will unfold at Mumbai’s iconic Mehboob Studios over two days, featuring a vibrant mix of conversations, masterclasses, performances, and cultural experiences. This year’s festival continues its tradition of spotlighting diverse creative disciplines including film, music, design, writing, photography, advertising, podcasting, gaming, tech, food, and digital storytelling.

Massive Celebrity Lineup Announced for IFP 15

IFP has revealed an impressive and wide-ranging lineup of celebrities, filmmakers, performers, and creators who will participate in panel discussions and sessions spanning various creative categories. The list includes Siddhant Chaturvedi, Hansal Mehta, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Vasan Bala, Adarsh Gourav, Vijay Varma, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Shoojit Sircar, Shahir Kapoor, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Richa Chadha, and renowned filmmaker Robert B. Weide. Director Gurinder Chadha will also be present to talk about her upcoming film Christmas Karma.

Expressing his excitement, Abhishek Bachchan—who will join filmmaker Shoojit Sircar for a special session—said in a press note:
“Becoming Arjun is a session I am genuinely excited about. Arjun from I Want to Talk is a character who has stayed with me, and it will be great fun to sit with Shoojit Sircar and pull apart how we built him.”

Music and Culture Lineup Brings Icons and New Voices Together

IFP 15’s music segment will feature a rich blend of emerging talents and cultural stalwarts. Performers such as Mary Ann Alexander, Akshath, and Dhanji will join a session moderated by Shamani Joshi. The lineup also includes celebrated names like Raja Kumari, Mae Thomas, Hariharan, Akshay Hariharan, Tarsame Mittal, Dino James, and Agam Walia.

Beyond the world of cinema and music, the festival will also host influencers, authors, photographers, digital creators, artists, and chefs—reflecting IFP’s expanding cultural footprint.

Event Dates and Legacy

The festival is scheduled to take place in Mumbai on November 29 and 30, drawing thousands of creative enthusiasts and industry professionals. Over the years, IFP has welcomed a stellar list of guests including Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tom Schulman, Alexander Payne, Mira Nair, Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Tripathi, Javed Akhtar, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkummar Rao, Imran Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Shabana Azmi, Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, and Sonakshi Sinha.

With its ever-expanding scope and star power, IFP Season 15 promises to be one of the most dynamic and culturally rich editions yet.
