Tel Aviv/Tehran, June 13, 2025 — The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it has foiled a drone attack and conducted a precision airstrike on a launch cell moments before a planned assault. The military also released footage showing airstrikes on two Iranian F-14 fighter jets stationed at an airport in Tehran, which the IDF claims were poised to intercept Israeli aircraft.

🔥 Israel’s Offensive Hits High-Value Targets

The IDF’s strikes were part of a major military offensive launched on Friday, targeting multiple locations across Iran, including Tehran. The attacks reportedly resulted in the deaths of senior Iranian military officials, nuclear scientists, and destroyed critical infrastructure.

One of the primary targets was a nuclear enrichment facility near the city of Qom, roughly 18 miles from its center.

In retaliation, Iran launched hundreds of drones and missiles towards Israeli territory. The exchange represents one of the most intense escalations in the long-standing conflict between Israel and Iran.

The heightened military activity has raised alarm across the region, prompting several Middle Eastern nations to close airports and restrict airspace, fearing the conflict could spill over into neighboring territories.

⚠️ Khamenei: ‘We Will Act Forcefully’

On Saturday, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei issued a strong warning, vowing to “act forcefully” in response to the Israeli strikes that killed top generals and hit nuclear sites.

“Israel should not think that it is over because they attacked and it is finished. No. They started this and initiated the war. We won’t allow them to escape unscathed from this great crime they have committed,” Khamenei said in a televised message.
