IDF Strikes Hezbollah And Hamas Targets In Lebanon And Gaza, Eliminates Senior Terrorists

Jerusalem [Israel], March 21: The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) recently conducted strikes on multiple targets in Lebanon and Gaza, eliminating several key figures linked to the Hamas terrorist organization.

The IDF targeted a military site in the Bekaa Valley, Lebanon, which contained underground infrastructure used by Hezbollah. Another strike targeted a Hezbollah facility with rocket launchers in southern Lebanon, where the group was observed engaging in terrorist activities.

In a significant development, the IDF confirmed the elimination of Essam Dib Abdullah al-Dalis, the prime minister of Hamas and a senior government figure in the Gaza Strip. Al-Dalis, who replaced Ruhi Mushtaha in July 2024, was responsible for overseeing Hamas’ operations in Gaza and utilizing its resources for terrorist activities. His death comes as part of a broader Israeli offensive in Gaza, which included attacks on Hamas targets and senior figures in the political wing.

Within the past 24 hours, the IDF has also eliminated other key Hamas leaders, including:

  • Mahmoud Marzouk Ahmed Abu-Watfa: Minister of the Interior in the Hamas government, responsible for internal security mechanisms used for terrorism.
  • Bahjat Hassan Muhammad Abu-Saltan: Head of Hamas’ internal security, involved in terrorist operations.
  • Ahmed Omar Abdullah Al-Hata: Minister of Justice in Hamas’ government, responsible for using all state resources for terrorist purposes.

The IDF’s aim is to cripple Hamas’ military and governmental infrastructure, thereby diminishing the group’s threat to Israel and its citizens.
