Jerusalem [Israel], February 9: Israeli soldiers engaged in multiple incidents over the weekend in Gaza to repel approaching threats, according to the Israel Defence Forces (IDF).
In central Gaza, Israeli aircraft fired at suspicious vehicles that were moving north on a route not approved for vehicle traffic, bypassing the agreed checkpoint route and violating the established outline for movement.
In the southern Gaza Strip, IDF soldiers identified a suspect moving near their position and fired to repel the individual. When the suspect continued to advance toward the force and posed an immediate threat, additional fire was deployed to eliminate the danger.
The IDF also called on Gaza residents to adhere to the instructions provided and avoid approaching military personnel.
