England delivered a dominant all-round performance to register a comfortable win over Bangladesh, while Sri Lanka held their nerve to clinch a tense four-wicket victory against Afghanistan in Super 6 matches of the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2026, co-hosted by Zimbabwe and Namibia, on Friday.

In the other Super 6 encounter at the Namibia Cricket Ground, Windhoek, Sri Lanka overcame a spirited Afghanistan side to win by four wickets.
Batting first, Afghanistan posted 193 all out in 49.5 overs, thanks largely to opener Osman Sadat, who played a gritty knock of 61 off 107 balls, and Aziz Mia Khil, who scored 43 off 58 balls with five boundaries.
Sri Lanka’s bowling effort was led by Kugathas Mathulan (2/62) and Viran Chamuditha (2/20), while Sethmika Seneviratne (1/31), Rasith Nimsara (1/44) and Chamika Heentigala (1/19) also made valuable contributions.
