Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], February 3: Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Saif Ali Khan, and Khushi Kapoor, daughter of the late Sridevi, are all set to debut in Bollywood with the upcoming film ‘Naadaniyan’. The makers have now released a romantic track titled ‘Ishq Mein’ from the movie, which showcases the love chemistry between Ibrahim and Khushi.
‘Naadaniyan’ is directed by Shauna Gautam and produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Misra under the banner of Dharmatic Entertainment. The romantic track, ‘Ishq Mein’, features a soulful melody composed by the music duo Sachin-Jigar. The song is sung by Sachet Tandon, Asees Kaur, and Sachin-Jigar, with lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
In addition to the lead characters, the film also stars Suneil Shetty, Mahima Chaudhary, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj in prominent roles.
The film’s storyline is described as a “young adult romantic drama” that revolves around the innocence and magic of first love. It follows Piya (played by Khushi), a spirited girl from South Delhi, and Arjun (played by Ibrahim), a determined middle-class boy from Noida. The two characters, coming from completely different worlds, embark on a journey filled with mischief, heart, and the emotional chaos of young love.
The producers expressed excitement, sharing, “Love has always been at the heart of our storytelling, and with Naadaniyan, we’re celebrating it in its purest, most youthful form. This film introduces a fresh, dynamic pairing with Ibrahim and Khushi, while also marking Ibrahim’s exciting debut.” They also praised Netflix as the perfect platform to bring this vibrant romantic drama to audiences worldwide.
Riddhima Kapoor, sister of actor Ranbir Kapoor, also expressed her excitement for the film on social media, commenting on the post shared by Sony Music India, “Can’t wait for this one. Looking so good.”
‘Naadaniyan’ marks the directorial debut of Shauna Gautam, who previously assisted Karan Johar on the hit film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’.
