Washington DC [US]: Exciting news for House of the Dragon fans! The highly anticipated third season of the hit HBO series has officially begun filming in the United Kingdom, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
The upcoming season will feature eight episodes and is expected to premiere sometime in 2026.
New Cast Members & Directors Announced
Season 3 welcomes two new actors to the show:
- Tommy Flanagan (Sons of Anarchy) as Ser Roderick Dustin
- Dan Fogler (Fantastic Beasts) as Ser Torrhen Manderly
Additionally, the season will introduce a fresh lineup of directors, including Clare Kilner, Nina Lopez-Corrado, Andrij Parekh, and Loni Peristere.
Returning Cast and Production Team
The new season will see the return of key cast members, including Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy, Olivia Cooke, Steve Toussaint, Rhys Ifans, and Fabien Frankel, among others.
