In the first episode, we share the inspiring tale of Digendra Kumar, an exceptional soldier in the Indian Army, who was awarded the Maha Vir Chakra, India’s second-highest military decoration, for his valor during the Kargil War in 1999. Serving with the 2nd Battalion, Rajputana Rifles, he played a pivotal role in the capture of Tololing and Tiger Hill, two strategic peaks in the Kargil conflict.
Renowned for his courage and determination, Kumar led his troops through treacherous terrain under intense enemy fire. His leadership and bravery were instrumental in overcoming heavily fortified enemy positions, significantly contributing to India’s victory in the war.
