Television stars Hina Khan and Rocky Jaiswal have openly shared why they would never opt for a televised wedding, even as fellow celeb Avika Gor married Milind Chandwani on the reality show Pati Patni Aur Panga last September 2025.
In a recent chat on Elvish Yadav’s podcast, Hina and Rocky reflected on Avika and Milind’s decision to broadcast their wedding to the public. Hina called it “bahut daring cheez hai” (a very daring move), while Rocky added, “Hum zyada woh bahar nahi karte hain” (We don’t really do all that in public), highlighting their preference for privacy.
Hina also humorously remarked on Milind, saying, “Par hai Milind ek number ka kanjoos. Paise bachaye hain usne” (But Milind is extremely stingy, number one. He has saved a lot of money), showing their lighthearted take on the spectacle of televised weddings.
Avika and Milind had included numerous celebrity guests, such as Farah Khan, Krushna Abhishek, and Rakhi Sawant, and Avika explained her choice to make the wedding public: she wanted to share the milestone with fans who have supported her career since 2008.
In contrast, Hina and Rocky’s own wedding, held on June 4, 2025, was an intimate affair. The couple, who first met on the sets of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Hina as lead, Rocky as producer), had been dating for over a decade before tying the knot. Hina shared their union on Instagram, writing, “From two different worlds, we built a universe of love… Today, our union is forever sealed in love and law. We seek your blessings and wishes as wife and husband.”
While Avika Gor embraced a public celebration, Hina and Rocky emphasize the joy of keeping such personal moments private, showing that celebrities approach life milestones in ways that best suit their personalities.
