Naples, Italy: Bringing Christmas cheer to Italy, the world-renowned toy company Hamleys has opened its newest store in Naples, marking a special addition to the Campania region. Located in the innovative MaxiMall Pompeii retail hub, the store is Hamleys’ fourth in Italy, joining existing locations in Rome, Milan, and Bergamo.
The store spans 750 square meters on a single level and offers a vibrant, immersive shopping experience. Designed to ignite the imaginations of children, it brings the brand’s signature red-and-white world to life with a focus on fun, magic, and theater. The store showcases a curated selection of toys for all age groups, featuring top brands like Lego, Build-a-Bear, Hello Kitty, and more.
MaxiMall Pompeii, a sprawling 200,000-square-meter hub, provides a wide array of shopping, dining, leisure, and entertainment options. Situated near the historic Pompeii archaeological site and Mount Vesuvius, it features 146 stores, a hotel, theatre, movie theatre, and even an outdoor amphitheater with a dancing fountain.
On the opening, Sumeet Yadav, CEO of Hamleys Global, expressed excitement about the store’s success in Italy, emphasizing the importance of creating unforgettable experiences for children and families. He also highlighted the ongoing collaboration with Giochi Preziosi, Italy’s leading toy manufacturer, who partnered with Hamleys for this expansion.
The store will officially open its doors on December 14, with a festive event that includes appearances by popular children’s characters, a bell exchange ceremony, and a ribbon-cutting with the beloved Hamley Bear.
