Ghaziabad Triple Suicide: Forensic Probe Focuses On “Korean Love Game” After 9-Page Diary Found

GHAZIABAD — The investigation into the tragic death of three sisters (Nishika, 16; Prachi, 14; and Pakhi, 11/12) in a high-rise society in Loni has taken a deep dive into the “dark side” of digital immersion. On Saturday, February 7, 2026, police revealed that a nine-page pocket diary recovered from the scene describes the girls’ belief that they were “Korean princesses” and expresses deep resentment over being “forced to be Indian.”

While the girls’ father, Chetan Kumar, initially claimed financial stress led him to sell their phones, investigators are now probing whether the girls were following lethal commands from a task-based “Korean love game.”

1. The Digital “Korean” Life

The sisters had effectively “disconnected” from reality years ago, a trend that began during the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • The Persona: The girls had adopted Korean names and identities. In their diary, they referred to “Korean relatives” and expressed a desire to marry only Korean men.
  • The “Love Game”: Police are investigating a specific interactive app that reportedly assigns 50 tasks. Unlike typical games, this “love game” involves a virtual companion who sends affectionate messages and tasks that escalate in severity.
  • Social Media Erasure: Days before the suicide, the father forced the eldest sister to delete a social media account with 2,000 followers, which police believe was a “breaking point” for her mental health.

2. Family Dynamics & Internal Friction

The investigation has uncovered an unconventional family structure that may have contributed to the girls’ isolation.

  • The Household: Chetan Kumar lived with three wives—all biological sisters—and five children.
  • The Note: Interestingly, the girls’ suicide note was addressed only to their father. It contained no mention of their mother, though it expressed bitterness toward one of the other wives (referred to as “Tina mummy”) for trying to “Indianize” their younger half-sister.
  • Academic Isolation: None of the three sisters had attended school since 2020, leaving them with no social circle outside of their “Korean world” online.
